Matcha Products & Applications

Origin, grades and performance in real recipes

Where does Lvyinbio source its matcha powder?
Lvyinbio supplies matcha sourced from Guizhou Province, China. Our supply focus is Guizhou tea for international food, beverage, bakery and retail buyers. If origin wording is important for your product label, ask us to confirm the origin information for the specific matcha you are purchasing. Learn more about Lvyinbio and our sourcing approach.
What matcha grades do you supply for wholesale buyers?
We offer ceremonial-style, premium beverage, culinary and baking matcha, alongside grade matching and custom blending support. These options address different flavor, color, fineness and price needs. You can compare our ceremonial, premium and culinary ranges before requesting samples.
What is the difference between ceremonial, premium and culinary matcha?
These are commonly used commercial grade descriptions, not universal regulated quality grades. Ceremonial-style matcha is usually selected for whisked tea and premium retail, premium grades for everyday beverages, and culinary grades for baking or recipes with other ingredients. The right purchase depends on the approved product specification and how a sample performs in your intended use.
Which matcha is best for cafés, lattes and bubble tea?
For lattes and milk tea, start with a beverage-oriented premium matcha. Assess how the green color and tea flavor perform after adding dairy or plant-based milk, sweetener and ice. We help cafés and drink brands compare sample grades by flavor, color, mixing performance and cost per serving. See our premium matcha options.
Can your matcha be used in baking, ice cream or RTD drinks?
Yes. Our matcha range serves cakes, pastries, confectionery, ice cream, milk teas, smoothies and ready-to-drink beverage development. Product performance depends on the final recipe, heating, processing, storage and other ingredients. We recommend a practical application test before locking in the commercial grade or blend. Samples & Product Evaluation

Select the right powder before committing to volume

Can I request matcha samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Lvyinbio supports sample testing and grade matching before commercial approval. Tell us the intended product, target market, preferred grade and expected quantity so we can suggest useful options. Sample availability, sample size, shipping arrangements and any charges are confirmed with our team before dispatch.
How should I compare matcha samples for commercial use?
Test candidates side by side using the same recipe, serving size and preparation method. Record dry powder color, aroma, flavor, bitterness, fineness, dispersion and how the finished beverage or food looks over time. Compare cost per finished serving or batch as well as price per kilogram. We can help shortlist grades for those tests.
Can you help match an existing matcha flavor or develop a blend?
We support grade matching, custom blending and recipe discussions for B2B projects. Share a reference sample or describe your target flavor, color, mouthfeel, application and budget. We can review a practical sample route; technical feasibility and the final blend specification are confirmed through testing and approval.
Will a sample look and taste exactly the same as every future batch?
An approved sample establishes the target quality profile, but tea is an agricultural ingredient and minor natural variation may occur. For repeat supply, we focus on agreed color, aroma, fineness and product specifications, with quality checks before shipment. Commercial orders should be evaluated against the approved specification rather than expecting every batch to be visually identical.
What details should I send when requesting samples?
Include your application (for example latte, bakery or retail), destination country, target flavor and color, estimated initial order volume, packaging needs and approximate target price. Mention any required test reports or market-specific documentation early; this helps us recommend samples that make sense for your project.

Bulk Orders, MOQ & Pricing

Order quantities, commercial packs and clear quotes

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for wholesale matcha?
MOQ depends on the grade, available stock, packaging format and customization scope. We support trial-order discussions as well as regular bulk supply, but we do not publish a single MOQ that would fit every project. Send us the grade and your proposed order volume for an accurate starting quantity and quotation.
Do you support small trial orders for new businesses?
Yes. Lvyinbio works with early-stage cafés and brands that need to test their product before scaling up. Low-volume supply depends on product availability, the pack format and whether you require custom printing or blending. We will clarify the feasible order size, price and lead time for your specific trial.
What bulk packaging sizes can you offer?
Our documented commercial packing options include 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 25 kg bags. Actual packaging material, order minimums and fill configuration are confirmed for the selected product. Buyers planning bulk production or distribution can request packing details alongside the product specification and quotation.
Why do wholesale matcha prices differ by grade and quantity?
Price depends on the tea grade, sourcing and quality profile, processing, purchase volume, packaging, custom work, testing requirements and delivery terms. A grade that costs less per kilogram may require more powder per drink. We recommend evaluating the total cost in your intended recipe, not only the unit price.
What information do you need to provide an accurate quotation?
Please share the application, grade or target profile, quantity, packaging size, destination country, required documentation and preferred delivery timing. For OEM projects, add the brand artwork, customization scope and forecast volumes. With these details, we can quote a more useful product and supply option instead of sending an unrelated price list.

Private Label & OEM Matcha

Your brand, packaging and custom development scope

Does Lvyinbio offer private label and OEM matcha services?
Yes. We support branded matcha projects from powder grade selection and sample approval through custom blending, packaging, label coordination and commercial supply. Options include retail tins, pouches and sachets, subject to the project specifications. See our dedicated Private Label Matcha service page for the full workflow.
Can you provide matcha tins, stand-up pouches and sachets?
Yes. Those are part of our private label packaging offering, along with larger bulk bags. The available material, print method, net weight, order minimum and lead time depend on the chosen format. We recommend confirming packaging feasibility before finalizing branded artwork or launch dates.
Can I put my own logo and label on matcha packaging?
Yes. We support packaging and label design coordination for brand owners. You can share your logo, preferred design, pack size, required product information and destination market. Print-ready artwork, packaging specifications and legal label text should be approved before commercial production.
Can you customize the matcha grade or blend for my brand?
Yes. Product matching and custom blending are part of our OEM/ODM support. We review your target flavor, appearance, application, price position and expected volume, then discuss sample testing. The final recipe, availability, MOQ and production route must be approved before a custom order is placed.
Is private label MOQ the same as bulk powder MOQ?
Not necessarily. A standard bulk bag, a labeled stock pouch and a fully customized printed tin can have different material, printing and production minimums. We assess the complete product and packaging brief to determine realistic private label quantities. For project steps, visit our OEM page.

Quality, Testing & Compliance

Supplier approval and responsible documentation

How does Lvyinbio check matcha quality?
Our documented quality process includes raw leaf selection, shading and production monitoring, milling fineness review, color and aroma consistency checks, moisture and microbiological testing, and final packaging inspection. The checks required for an order should be agreed against the product specification and intended commercial use.
Can I request a COA, specification sheet or laboratory reports?
Tell us which documents your company or importer requires. We can review the availability of product specifications, relevant test results and batch documentation for the selected matcha and shipment. Document availability and scope need to be confirmed; an example report should not be taken as evidence for a different batch.
What about pesticide residues, heavy metals and microbiological safety?
These are important supplier-approval topics for food importers. Lvyinbio documents a quality-control program including moisture and microbiological testing. If you require pesticide-residue, heavy-metal or third-party test reports, send the parameters and destination-market limits so our team can confirm the available evidence or any additional testing needed for your order.
Is all your matcha certified organic, Halal or Kosher?
We do not present every matcha product as organic, Halal or Kosher certified. Such claims are valid only when the specific product, supplier or processing scope is covered by current applicable certification. If certification is a purchasing requirement, ask us to verify the documents and scope before ordering or printing certification claims on your packaging.
Can you ensure my private label complies with US or EU food labeling rules?
We can coordinate product and packaging information, but the final food label must be reviewed against the laws of the destination market. Ingredient declarations, net quantity, responsible operator/importer information, origin and other particulars may be required depending on the product and country. The buyer or local regulatory adviser should approve the final artwork; see our private label planning guidance.

Shipping, Storage & Repeat Supply

Planning imports and protecting product quality

Which countries and regions does Lvyinbio supply?
Our business focus includes buyers in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. We support international shipping and customs coordination for commercial matcha orders. Share your destination country and import requirements so we can review the available supply and logistics route.
What is the lead time for samples and bulk matcha orders?
Lead time depends on product availability, grade, quantity, testing, custom blending, packaging and any artwork approval. Transit time is separate from production time. We will confirm a project-specific schedule after the order requirements and shipping destination have been reviewed.
Can you arrange international shipping or help with customs paperwork?
We support global shipping and customs coordination. Depending on destination and shipment size, possible transport routes may include courier, air freight or sea freight. Applicable documents, Incoterms, freight charges and importer responsibilities must be confirmed in the quotation; we do not assume a specific delivery term applies to every order.
How should bulk matcha be stored, and what is its shelf life?
Protect unopened matcha from moisture, direct sunlight, oxygen, high temperatures and strong odors. After opening, seal the package promptly and follow the handling guidance for the product. Shelf life is not one fixed number; it depends on the approved powder, packaging barrier, packing date and storage conditions. Request the specific shelf-life information for your selected item.
Can Lvyinbio support repeat orders and consistent large-volume supply?
Yes. We support long-term commercial supply planning for cafés, distributors, food manufacturers and private label brands. The best approach is to agree the specification, packing format, quality review, demand forecast and shipping windows in advance. Each repeat order should confirm the current batch, quantity, documents and delivery needs.
